Starbucks Shipping Container drive thur store. It is located in Tukwila, Washington. Opened December 13, is constructed from four modified shipping containers, including one 20-foot container and three 40-foot containers. This is the first effort starbucks has done to pull off a certified LEED, and hopefully it will no be there last. This thing is real cool. I wish they would do more of these.
Some examples of the architecture that i fell in love with many years ago. I dream of build one of my own sometime soon. Tell me what you guys think of the idea of turning these sometimes considered trash items into a treasure.
Take some vintage spring coils from a old truck. Add a top on it to that you can sit on, and what do you get? Some really cool stools. I searched for these everywhere and pretty much you just cant find them. If you want them you’ll have to make them. First place to look would be the junkyard. They might have some giant coils, if your lucky. Then you just attach the top of your choice. Then you will have some stools that are guaranteed jaw droppers. nobody else will have them And they will for sure become a major conversation piece in any place they are used. For a while I searched for some real cool industrial lighting and the truth is, It is hard to find. Well in a decent price range anyway. So I decided I was going to have to make the myself. I went into the garage to see what kind of stuff I had ,that could possibly be made into lighting. I saw some old rusty warped rotors from my mom’s Jeep. Next I needed to have some sort of glass piece to tie this all together, because some rusty rotors with a light bulb just didn’t look good together alone, looked incomplete. I had the hurricanes for six inch candles and used the glass, I still had the base of the hurricane so I still had somewhat of a candle holder. So all that with a light outlet on a small plywood base and a Edison lightbulb and BAM!!!!! I now have these beautiful recycled industrial lighting for my living room that only cost me seven bucks each Edison bulb. So tell me what you guys think, Is this trash or treasure?

This was my first espresso machine and I think is suitable for beginers. The company does not make these machines anymore, but they have them on ebay. Thats where I got mine for $250. When they where brand new the retailed for $600. I have had mine for over a year and have had no problems with it. Works everytime. The one I got from eBay had two portafilters: one for ground coffee and the other for use with standard ESE pods. Both are constructed of brass and plated with chrome which allows the temperature to remain consistent during the brewing process. All and all it looks great in the kitchen and makes a real good espresso.
Bobo Intriguing Objects make these beutiful tables. Well They make most of it. The base of both of these tables are really nice welded steel frames and have a rust patina with a wax coating over it. Tabletop was originally a pallet used to cut, cool and transport bricks a century ago in a Belgian brickworks. Built for heavy commercial use the tops are handcrafted from thick planks of reclaimed azobe wood – a strong, weather-hardy, tight-grained timber. Each top weighs about 200 pounds. Since I have both and needed a dining table a bit smaller than this one i only used two of the the pallets and made the long ways. this way it made a dining table a little less wide and not as long. With the extra pallet I put on the bottom of my coffee table and it made a kind of base, which looks rather nice. All in all, this pieces are very nice and sturdy enough to last generations to come.
